Melissa Hill, LCSW, ACHT, Director of Business Development and Organizational Wellbeing
Nationally recognized outpatient treatment center, SunCloud Health, announces the addition of Melissa Hill, LCSW, ACHT, as Director of Business Development and Organizational Wellbeing. Melissa has nearly two decades of experience as a psychotherapist treating mood disorders, substance abuse and trauma in both inpatient and outpatient settings. A psychology honors graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she received her masters degree from the Jane Addams School of Social Work, and her advanced certification as a clinical heart-centered hypnotherapist and transpersonal coach from the Wellness Institute in Issaquah, Washington. Melissa also spent 16 years in the corporate arena where she learned about the importance of employee engagement. She later started her own consulting firm coaching leaders and helping their organization improve the employee experience.
“Melissa’s experience, expertise and passion are an invaluable addition to our team,” said Dr. Kim Dennis, Medical Director and Co-Founder at SunCloud Health. “Her comprehensive background will positively impact our future growth, both locally and nationally. Melissa’s skills as a clinician as well as her experience managing marketing and strategic business opportunities will be a great asset to SunCloud Health.”
David Newton, Director of Operations, added, “In addition to her corporate experience, Melissa brings her unique passion for employee engagement and wellbeing to a field where many employees experience high levels of stress and burn out, and employers experience high turnover. We are distinguished as a treatment center that cares deeply about our employees, as we do for our patients.”
“It’s exciting to join a company with a notable reputation in treating addiction, eating disorders and co-occurring disorders that is growing quickly—truly a testament to the powerful work SunCloud Health does with its patients”, said Melissa Hill. “I am looking forward to assisting SunCloud in its expansion efforts by bringing a unique treatment model to a broader population. I am also thrilled to be able to use my clinical experience and passion for employee wellbeing in this role. Many companies say they care about their employees, but few actually dedicate time and resources that are vital to improving employee engagement.”
